The Buddy Guy Chronicles 3: Jewish Appreciation Night

Aim: What is Jewish Appreciation Night?

Do Now: What will you be doing on Monday, September 29th?

Mini-Lesson: Thanks to the wonderful Jews of New York City, teachers have Tuesday and Wednesday off to celebrate Rosh Hashanah (Happy New Year!) and Yom Kippur. Since teachers are the only people off from work, it would only make sense to dominate a city bar on Monday.

The celebration will take place at Jake’s Dilemma where there will be $2.50 drafts all night. Jake’s is located on the Upper West Side.

Guided Practice: Together as teachers I expect to make several toasts (L’chaim!) to how awesome we are

Independent Practice: Drink and celebrate however you see fit. Whether its jagerbombs, Miller Lite, or Manichewitz wine, make sure you’re enjoying yourself.

Homework: RSVP to contacttheulot@gmail.com

* Yes, gentiles are welcome
